Hi I'm McKenzie Arrington

I grew up in Herriman, Utah and moved to Ogden when I was 11. I love the outdoors especially horseback riding and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go horseback riding and do anything outdoors such as hiking, running, biking. I love listening to music and spending time with my family. I love hanging out with my friends and to just have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. I wouldn't want to live my life any other way. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and has a plan for me. The standards that this church has are standards that we can follow so that we may return to live with Him again. That's all He wants for His children is for them to be happy and to learn and grow and to progress so that when our time comes to see Him again, we will have become more like Him. Because of Him, I have been so blessed. Knowing that I have a loving Heavenly Father that knows not only my strengths, but He also knows of my weaknesses and He knows how to turn those weaknesses into strengths. He has done so much for me throughout my life and I couldn't be happier. Life can get hard because that's how it is meant to be, but knowing that I am His daughter and that He only wants what's best for me, it makes any burden or trial that I may be having so much easier. I love my Heavenly Father more than anything and I hope that I can live my life everyday so that I can make Him proud and so that when that day comes, I can be worthy enough to be reunited with Him.

How I live my faith

I have served on a Home Evening Committee in my Young Single Adult Ward. Me and other committee members would come up with ideas to bring our ward family closer together through different activities. For example, we had a skits activity where we divided everybody up into seperate groups and they had to come up with a skit to different situations and also apply a spiritual phrase that was assigned to them. Everybody seemed to really enjoy themselves and it was so fun to see the different insights that people had on different gospel subjects. We became more of a family that night and that was the goal that the committee wanted to meet and it was amazing.
