Hi I'm Parker Irwin

I'm a missionary in the Great Kentucky Louisville mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play football and I trow the javelin. I love to go snowboarding in the winter and wake boarding in the summer. I am currently serving a mission in the Kentucky Louisville mission. When I get home I plan on going to BYU-Idaho. I want to study mechanical engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because this gospel has brought peace and joy into my life. I love my savior Jesus Christ with all my heart. I have read the book of mormon and i know it is true. I know we have a prophet on the earth today because the Holy Spirit has told me so.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in church activities. I love to share my faith and how i love Jesus Christ. I love to do service for others. I strive to love others as Jesus did.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Parker Irwin
Joseph Smith was a young boy who wanted to know what church to join. He asked God and He told Joseph to join none of the churches. God later called Joseph Smith to be a prophet of the restored church. Joseph did not form his own church. He was merely an instrument in the Lord's hand to bring back the same church that Jesus Christ established. Show more Show less

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Parker Irwin
This church is a missionary church. If we did not have missionaries who give up 2 years of their lives then this church would not have survived. The members also love to share the happiness it brings them with other people. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Parker Irwin
The Atonement of Jesus Christ was His suffering in the garden of gethsemane and on the cross. This was necessary so we could be forgiven of our sins and live with Heavenly Father again. The word atone means to reconcile back to harmony with God. The Atonement is the way we are forgiven of our sins. Show more Show less
