Hi I'm Christina

I am currently serving a mission in the Ulaanbaatar Mongolia Mission in the Mongolian language. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a degree in Early Childhood Education/ Special Education. I spent a year working at a child development center teaching children with autism. I grew up in Texas, but I have lived in Colorado, Arizona, California, Utah, Idaho, Virginia, and New York. I love to snowboard, write, and go to the movies!

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel brings joy! This simple fact is strengthened daily by the miracles I witness all around me and by the many blessings I receive in every aspect of my life. I was born into the church, but I decided at a very young age that I needed to know for myself if this Gospel is true. I received my testimony through that still small voice that begins as a warm feeling of peace and comfort. Like a seed, that feeling became a belief, which eventually grew to a firm testimony of knowing that this gospel is Jesus Christ’s restored church on the earth today. I’m about to serve a full-time mission in Mongolia, where I will have the opportunity to share this wonderful news to people of a different culture, language, and way of living. I'm excited for the coming adventure! I can’t wait to spread the joy that I feel and invite God’s precious children to come unto Him!

How I live my faith

It is the simple acts of service like visiting a friend or neighbor, providing a meal for a struggling newly wed, or raking the leaves of the elderly, that can truly make the difference. Charity is more than just service; it is love. I have had many administrative responsibilities over groups of men and women of all ages in the church. I have been a teacher and a leader. I pay an honest 10% of my income to assist in the construction of temples and church buildings, the missionary funds, family history work, and education. I sustain the beloved prophet of this church, President Thomas S. Monson, whose guidance and counsel has come straight from God. I know he will not only provide us with peace and comfort, but he will help guide us back to our Father in Heaven.
