Hi I'm Ladonna Mclean

Most people call me Tweet! Born and raised in North Carolina. I love to draw, cook, and look at the stars. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am pretty short. I go to Brigham Young University- Idaho. It is a great place to be. I am studying Studio Art. I want to go into the fields of illustration and animation. I love animated shows, movies, and short films.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel like there is no greater joy in this world than being a Latter-Day Saint. I love to be Mormon. I love the church and its teachings of Christ. I love that family is key to salvation. I love the community spirit I feel when I go to church, whether it is in my home town our in a different place. The church is the same. The teachings are the same from one ward to the next. Most of all, the gospel centers around Christ and becoming a better person. I am a better, happier woman because I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I used to be a teacher in Relief Society, but now I am preparing to go on a mission. I will be sharing the gospel to those who may need it in their lives. I will be in the service of our Heavenly Father by telling people about Him and His son, Jesus Christ. I also attend church regularly and lend a helping hand in ward activities when needed.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Ladonna Mclean
Keep praying and acting in good works. You have to want to have faith in Christ in order to gain it and let it grow. Study the scriptures, they all talk about Christ. Talk to others and hear their stories about faith. Don't give up, if you are sincerely trying Heavenly Father will allow you to gain more faith through experience. However, you have to work at it. God does not simply give us faith; we have to earn it. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Ladonna Mclean
Being a Mormon is not easy. You get those awkward stares from people once you tell them your religion. People sometimes disown me as a friend because I am a Mormon. I have had to make tough decisions in my life because of my Mormon faith. I have had to stop associating with people that I thought were good, that even includes disassociating with some of my family members! I've given up activities that were not in accordance with the gospel. I completely changed. Despite all of that, being Mormon feels wonderful. I get to share a piece of me that makes my life happy. I love to be Mormon, it gives me strength and hope to keep going through the day. There is also a great support system in the church. Being Mormon gives me a whole new kind of family and it opened my world to brand new ideas and things that bring joy to my life. Show more Show less
