Hi I'm Karen

I grew up in California and completed one year of college at BYU. I have been called to serve in the Tennessee Nashville mission.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to talk, play group games and go on walks. Horse back riding is also fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to follow God because I wanted to be a better big sister and a better, more obedient daughter. I knew that to gain a testimony of the gospel, I had to live gospel principles. So I did. I worked hard to obey my parents willingly. When I did this, I was happier and my relationship with my parents was much better. I chose to exercise faith. I did this by doing what I already knew I should do (obeying commandments I knew about) and listening for the Spirit to guide me to new opportunities for service. Doing these things helped me to have peace and love in my life. I came to the knowledge that God loves me and that he loves each person on this earth. I know this by the power of the Holy Ghost and I say it in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example for my younger siblings. I try to follow God so that I can have a meaningful, fulfilling life and so that I can help my family to do the same. I am so much happier when I follow Jesus Christ. I want my family to have this same happiness.

What is being a Mormon like?

Karen
Being Mormon is strengthening because I am around people who believe in Jesus Christ and who acknowledge Him as their savior and don't fear to talk of Him. Because I am Mormon, I have learned how to find answers to difficult questions and how to find peace in hard times. I know that God loves me. Show more Show less
