Hi I'm Hermana Charity Doyel

I am from Sherwood, Oregon. I attended BYU-I. I'm currently serving a mission in Comodoro Rivadavia Argentina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Argentina but I attended and will return to BYU-Idaho and pursue a career in the medical field. I have grown up playing volleyball, and throwing discus and javelin in Track & Field. I love being outdoors, having campfires, swimming, hiking, and especially doing all these things with my family! I have 4 siblings and I am the second oldest. Life brings me joy and being with my amazing family brings me even greater joy :). I would never trade any of the hard times in life because I know they make me who I am. I know trials will come in the future, especially as I set out on my mission for a year and a half, but with the Lord by my side I know I can do anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because it brings me happiness. Though many people see it as a gospel with rules rules rules... I see this gospel and way of life as the happiest way you could live. With all the doctrine and principles put aside, I know that I couldn't be happier any other way :). But because of the covenants and commitments ("rules") we make to our Heavenly Father, including to follow the living day Prophet, the Lord can bless us. A way that I have felt my Saviors love is through making goals and keeping promises with my Heavenly Father. He truly loves us and blesses us with so many things. The Lord has also given us a prophet today, and I testify that Thomas S. Monson is this prophet on the earth. I love him with all my heart! I feel the love that he has for everyone in the world, and I know it is from the Lord. And that is why I am a Mormon, I have seen the outcome and I love it. :)

How I live my faith

I was born into the church and have grown up being taught these gospel principles. Each day I try to be like our Father in Heaven, although I fall short more often than not, I know that as I continue to try to be like Him I will be strengthened and blessed. I have seen so many blessings in my life :). Because of the joy and blessings I have seen from of this gospel and my relationship with my Heavenly Father I have chosen to spend a year and a half of my life as a 19 year old sister missionary to invite others to come unto Christ and feel of this joy. How can I just keep this joy to myself? I can't!:) Jesus Christ, our savior, has done so much for us and I could not imagine any other way of expressing my love and gratitude for Him, in this time of my life, other than serving this mission. I know as I prepare and turn to the Lord I will be a better, more loving, helpful, and kind daughter, sister, friend, missionary and person. :)
