Hi I'm Destiny

I'm from Idaho. I love to travel. I can't wait to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just started my first year of college at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. I'm a nursing major and I absolutely love to travel. I've been to several different countries in South and Central America and the Caribbean. One of my favorite trips was a humanitarian mission to Guatemala. While I was there the group I was with built bunk beds for an orphanage and we donated many supplies to a local school. My next big trip I hope to take--- GREECE!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. This church is focused around the happiness and well being of its members. I truly know that following the principles of this gospel will bring unmeasurable joy and blessings. I know that this church is Jesus Christ's true gospel. We believe that Christ came to this earth, suffered for man kind's sins, and made it possible for us to return to Him and our Father in Heaven when we die if we repent and choose to follow Him. His life was the perfect example of being selfless and as members of the church we all strive to emulate Christ's characteristics and attributes to better ourselves and those around us.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel of Jesus Christ by trying to treat others the way He would treat them. I try to love everyone and to see the good and potential I believe everyone has within them. We have all been through tough times but tough times don't last: tough people do.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Destiny
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is very family oriented. We believe that families can and should be together forever. Some of our greatest joys come from family relationships, and the loss of a family member can be devastating. But death is not the end. If families and individuals choose to live the principles the gospel we know that through sacred ordinances performed in God's holy temples families can be "sealed" or bound for time and all eternity.
