Hi I'm Lucy Ann

I have only ever lived in cold places. I love learning and education and hope to one day be a doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a high-school student who is someday planning to be a doctor and be married eternally in the Lord's temple. I enjoy learning about he human body, history, military, and so many other things that it would take up all of the space here.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon, and I have chosen to be a member of this church because I know that the words and doctrines it teaches are true. We have a living prophet and living apostles on the earth, and they are called by God. The Book of Mormon is true, and it shares another testament of Jesus Christ, the testament of those on the American continent. Joseph Smith was an inspired man, and he did really bring forth what we know as the true Gospel, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I am the chorister, which means I lead the music during the first meeting, Sacrament Meeting. I also participate in a daily online Seminary class, where I learn more about my faith and have come to love the scriptures more.

What is the priesthood?

Lucy Ann
The priesthood is authority to act in God's name given to men. This priesthood existed in the original church that Jesus Christ formed while he was still alive on the earth. The Church is led by priesthood holders. Worthy male members of the church have the opportunity to receive the priesthood and use it to bless others. Ways the priesthood can be used are: leading congregations, performing ordinances (like baptism), and blessing the sick. It should always be used with gentleness, love, and kindness.
