Hi I'm Erynn Williams

I was born and raised in Provo, Utah. I am the youngest of four siblings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year at BYU and loved it! I am now preparing to leave on a mission, and am so excited to serve the people, and my Lord Jesus Christ through missionary work! I love to sing and dance, and in high school, I participated in my schools ballroom dance team, and in their choirs. I love to be together with my family and friends! My family members are my best friends, and I love to spend as much time with them as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born to LDS parents, and I was raised in the gospel, I grew my testimony slowly. As a young child I knew that my family lived and did things differently from the world because my parents told me, but I did not understand why. It was not until I was older that I began to understand how beautiful the gospel of Jesus Christ truly is, and to have a desire to live it for myself. I choose to live this way because the Holy Ghost has testified to me of the Saviors love for me, and all the world. I choose to live this way because the Holy Ghost has helped me to gain a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, and of Joseph Smith. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ I have peace, and am able to repent of my sins. I know that it is only through Christ's atonement that I can be with my family for eternity, and someday dwell with God. Living this gospel brings me great peace and happiness. I know that the church is true, I know that God lives, I know that President Monson is a living prophet of God, and I know that Joseph Smith restored the church, and translated the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have grown to love this gospel more and more. I come to love it through living it, and through serving in church callings. When I live the gospel, and sacrifice for it, I see the blessings that come from it, and I improve my relationship with my Heavenly Father, and my Savior Jesus Christ. I have been a youth leader in many youth groups and activity committees, and have been an adult leader at girls camp. being a girls camp leader was one of my favorite callings because my time at girls camp helped me become a better person in so many ways. I loved to get to know the girls, and their sweet spirits. I loved to organize activities, and watch them as they learn and grow. I learned a lot about love, friendship, and integrity from the girls as I watched them at girls camp. I have also had the privilege of being a visiting teacher. I love to visit with the women in my ward, and come to know them. Praying for them increases my love for them. I love the visiting teaching program, because it gives everyone a friend. Because of visiting teachers, I know that I always have someone I can talk to. I also love the opportunity to be there for the sisters that I visit teach.
