Hi I'm M. Adam Allred

I grew up in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I am 18 years old, and played volleyball in High School. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six. I love playing sports, such as football, volleyball, and basketball. I have played the saxophone, cello, and the violin. I grew up in Arizona. I am currently serving a mission in Idaho. And I plan on going to college and getting a degree in Architectural Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in the church, at first I thought that everyone expected me to go to church every Sunday. As I grew older and read the Book of Mormon a couple times, but never all the way through, I started to wonder if the church was true. When I was 17, right before I left on my mission, I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover, and asked our Heavenly Father, through prayer, if what I read was true. For what felt like the first time, I felt something peaceful come upon me and was told that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is true. I am a Mormon because of the experience I had right before I left on my mission. I know the the church is true, that our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ are there for us and love us. I know the Book of Mormon and all the contents are true. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and I know that he saw Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that as you search for our Heavenly Father, you will find Him. He will never forsake us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others. I love service, it makes me full of happiness and peace. I do service with no thought of reward. And as I strive to do what's right, and do the best I can, in the end, I know that I will be blessed.
