Hi I'm Roger

I love nature, literature and science. I'm from Orem, Utah. I am the Student Body President of my high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of a good family. My Dad and Mom had 5 kids, two boys, two girls, and then me. I love to rock climb, road and mountain bike, go skiing, and enjoy nature. Im going to BYU after I serve my two year LDS mission to the Chile, Santiago East Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church,) since I was baptized as an 8 year old. Although this may seem like an act of naive blindness, Ive found that as I live the gospel principles, that my life is blessed by a power beyond my control or reach. This gospel brings me great joy and calming reassurance of my own future and my standing with my Lord. Through this gospel, I understand that I am a literal, spiritual child of my Father in Heaven. I know that with out a doubt. I have felt the love of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and his power to redeem and to save. Life's trials and tribulations, whether brought upon by myself or by others, are all covered by my Savior and his atonement. I know that power is real, and can be felt by any one who turns their heart and will to God. I love the Lord and I know He lives. That He conquered death, and that because of that, all will live again, after death. I am forever indebted to my Lord, yet I will continue onward to serve him in Love.

How I live my faith

I am a Priest in my ward, where I am blessed with the privilege of blessing the sacrament for my ward every Sunday. I regularly go home teaching, where I go to a few neighbors every month and share a spiritual thought, accompanied by my companion, who is my father. I strive to live my faith daily by studying my scriptures daily, seeking after the doctrines and words of Christ. I pray everyday, seeking to maintain and grow my relationship with my Father in Heaven. I have faith that everything will be ok, and that everything happens for a reason. I love Jesus Christ.
