Hi I'm Zak

I'm a runner. I like to music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and plays and musicals and I think that they are fantastic. I also have a fond attachment to sports of all kind. I enjoy playing and watching rugby, although I am not any good at it. I also really like american football and my favorite team is the Seahawks and has been since I was young and raised in Seattle. I have an affinity for Seafood of which Sushi is one of my favorites. I run a lot and like cross country and track. I am also a bit of a nerd and enjoy engineering, video games, and things of that sort.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and it is all I have ever known. Or at least it was. I began to question why I was a Mormon when I was a little younger and I didn't know. I then fell away and started to live a less desirable life that at the time seemed desirable. I decided to change my life and this gospel is what did that for me. I prayed long and hard and eventually came to the realization that the gospel taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the gospel of Jesus Christ and that it was true. And that we have a prophet in these latter days and his name is Thomas S. Monson and that the Book of Mormon is true and that this church is the true church. And I cannot deny it. I have grown to love this gospel and hope that others will find it and know of its truth.

How I live my faith

I am the first councilor in my priests quorum which basically means I help plan activities and help the other youth that are my same age. I am currently preparing to serve a 2 year mission for my church and am grateful to have the opportunity to do so. I regularly attend early morning seminary (church study class) before school each day to further my education in the church and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
