Hi I'm Amber

I'm a missionary in the Perú Iquitos Mission. I eat fried bananas and weird fish every day. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school in 2014 and finished my first year at BYU in 2015. The summer after high school, I went to Peru to perform humanitarian work. I helped build a school and taught english to young school children. The summer after my first year of college, I left again for Peru - this time to serve in the Amazon Jungle as a missionary!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. I know that book to be true and believe that Joseph Smith translated it. The gospel has blessed and guided my life since I was very young, and I know there is light that comes with the knowledge it gives me. I'm a Mormon because I believe this is the Savior's one true church and I love Him with all my heart and want to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day as a representative of Jesus Christ in the Amazon Jungle! I preach the gospel 24/7 and do my best to give the mission my all. 150% every day. I study and prepare to teach every morning and do all I can to help the people where I´m called to serve!
