Hi I'm Liz

I was born in Peru but raised in the U.S.A. I study journalism and international studies. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a senior in college. I study journalism and international studies, with an emphasis in foreign relations and security. I enjoy playing volleyball and watching soccer games.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because it gives me an incredible amount of happiness. Throughout my trails in life I have continuously seen my Savior's hand guide me out of the darkness. I am a mormon because I can't imagine living through life without the knowledge of the eternal truths such as where I came from and where I'm going. I'm a mormon because "we believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." In conclusion, I'm a mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and his Son, who gave his life for me. I know with all my heart the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I am eternally thankful for the opportunity I have to share this message of hope and love with the people of Ecuador.

How I live my faith

I am currently a sunday school teacher for children 4 & 5. I love teaching the children because it reminds me of God's unconditional love and how pure and loving his children are. In the past I have worked a lot with young women and attended girl camps during the summer to engage the girls in proactive outdoor experiences and let them learn about Christ.
