Hi I'm Catherine Miller

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm going on a mission to the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the viola and the piano. In fact, I just finished my freshman year at the University of Utah as a double major in viola and piano performance. I also like to play soccer and basketball. At the end of May, I'm leaving to go to the Philippines Urdaneta mission, and I am so excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, and so at age 8 the decision to be baptized was an easy one. My family and friends all did it, so it was just what I thought people did. However, as I've continued to attend church meetings, my testimony has grown to be much more personal. I no longer go to church just because my friends or family go. I go because at church I can feel the spirit and partake of the Sacrament. I follow His gospel because I have felt God's love and spirit and what to always be able to have those feelings with me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by performing musical numbers in church, whether it's accompanying a solo or the congregation, playing in a string quartet, or just singing with the choir, I love to share my testimony through music. I also am in charge of creating the program for Sacrament Meeting every week for my ward. I compile all the names of those participating in the service and list the activities for the upcoming weeks.
