Hi I'm Emily Lescarbeau!

I am a military brat, Silly face-maker, actress, and ice cream lover. I was baptized at 18, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I just finished my first year of college, I've already changed my major once, and I get the feeling I'll change it a few more times. I love performing arts, and I grew up as an actress! I come from a big, blended family, with half siblings and step siblings as well. My family is so important to me, and they love and support me so much. I converted to the church when I was 18, and I love it so much!. I am currently serving a mission for the Church!

Why I am a Mormon

I learned about the LDS church when I was 12 years old. I loved all the people I met, they were kind and loving. I moved a lot as a kid, but I always found myself back at church. Soon enough I prayed and pondered to know if this gospel was true. I got a feeling that this was exactly where I needed to be. I had to wait for 6 years to join the church, but I cherish that time I spent learning from the example of others. I was baptized at 18, and I know in my heart and mind this is the true gospel. My life is better and i am happier since I have joined, so what better proof is there? I know that life is not easy, but I can make it through with my Savior Jesus Christ at my side.

How I live my faith

The Savior lived to serve. Everything He did was for the benefit of others. He healed, inspired, taught, and loved everyone. I strive to follow His example and serve as many people as I can and love others! I have the perfect opportunity to do that now as a missionary in New England! This gospel can change lives. I love to serve and teach others so they can come to know the love their Savior and Heavenly Father have for them. I plan on continuing to serve others even after i return, because I become better as I serve others.
