Hi I'm Rachel Trimble

I have lived in Boise ever since I was about 2 years old. I received an Associate Degree from BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music; I play piano, guitar, and like to sing. Although I enjoy music from multiple genres, country music has my heart. I enjoy reading, there is never enough time to read as much as I wish. The more I read the more I appreciate classics, my favorite being Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment. I love to travel and take road trips with friends and family, I have yet to go out of the USA but have been able to visit about half of the states. I grew up with a sports loving family, baseball being my favorite. I graduated high school in 2013 and received an Associate Degree from BYU-Idaho in 2015. I am progressing to serving a mission, after which I want to study muscular therapy and practice it in baseball.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a faithful family but struggled during high school with knowing for myself if the church was true or not. I know from personal experience that life without the gospel can be difficult and overwhelming. I am a Mormon because my life is forever better with the gospel. I know that I can live with my wonderful family forever, death will not be the end of our lives together. I know that no matter what mistakes I have or will make can be forgiven, I always will have the opportunity to be progress and be better. I feel a joy and happiness that I know only is possible because of the gospel, It gives me the strength to press forward during times of trial and provides a source of constant hope in any life circumstance. I feel God's love for me every day of my life, that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been in church callings that have allowed me to serve others and get to know them. Such as visiting fellow sisters every month, assisting with youth activities, and helping prepare and bring meals to families who have lost loved ones. I currently am working towards serving a mission where as a sister missionary I will serve for 18 months. During that time doing all I can to help others and share my beliefs so that others might have the chance to find true happiness.
