Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in Ohio. I love the outdoors, and my family too. I'm a runner, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm the fourth of six children, and I have an amazing family. We all love each other, and love being together. One of our favorite things to do is to spend time in the outdoors. I love skiing, kayaking, ice skating, hiking, biking, water skiing, and most importantly running. I ran track and cross country all through high school, and I hope to continue in college! I also did scouting, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. One of my other interests is music. I play the piano, guitar, trumpet, harmonica, and I try to sing. Music has always meant a lot to me. To go along with that, I also enjoy dancing! Swing dancing is definitely a favorite hobby, and I love to learn more moves. In school, I've developed an interest in math and physics, and I hope to study engineering when I attend college. Now that I graduated high school, I'm going to serve as a missionary for 2 years in Mexico! I'm extremely excited for this new adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the things that I have found to be true. First and foremost, I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that because of Him, I can overcome any sin or struggle that I may encounter. His grace is sufficient for all those who humble themselves and come unto Him. I have felt the power and truthfulness of this in my life as I have d

How I live my faith

I always strive to live my life in harmony with the teachings of the Savior. Right now, I serve as the leader of the teenage guys. I try to serve them and act as an example to follow. One of my responsibilities is to help organize activities to serve those in our community, and to help build lasting relationships within our group. I also am assigned to look after, serve, and teach 2 families in our congregation. Each month I visit them to discuss their needs and teach a lesson. Doing these things gives me a purpose and makes me feel like I am serving the Lord. I have also decided to spend the next 2 years of my life serving the Lord and the people of Mexico. I look forward to focusing 100% of my time on serving Him and His children.
