Hi I'm Caleb Orton

I grew up in West Jordan, Utah then moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. I love mechanics and snowboarding. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a senior at Bonneville High School and a part of student council. I love going snowboarding, camping, and outside activities. I am called to serve in Seattle, Washington as a full time missionary. I want to become an engineer when I get out of college and start a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. That all of its teachings are correct and that everything that is read in the Book of Mormon and the Bible is true. With both of their teachings it has brought a fullness to the priesthood on earth. I am a Mormon because I know that through the teachings of this gospel I know what is after death and how to prepare to live with my Father in heaven for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I am in student council at my school as well as having a calling in church. I plan activities for school and for mutual. I try to make the effort to include everyone in the activities that are planned. Some of them that we do are like playing glow in the dark volleyball, human Foosball, and video game tournaments.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Caleb Orton
No, we are not required to serve missions, we have been encouraged and it has been said that we should go on a mission. Personally I see that is we "should" go on a mission it really is a moral obligation to go serve the lord. If waiting a year or two to become prepared is necessary then by all means wait and prepare. But we shouldn't make any excuses to not go. Show more Show less
