Hi I'm Natalie

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a teenager in high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the middle child of five. I attend high school and play basketball there. I love to draw and am constantly doodling. Music is my life. I am constantly listening to it or making it. I play the piano and sing. I am an aspiring author (hopefully) and love to write and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church. It was basically given to me. But, that doesn't mean I haven't had my struggles. I continue to follow His gospel because I have felt His peace. I have said prayers that were answered instantly. I have seen miracles. I feel His strength every time I put my Young Women Medallion on. I know He is with me and mindful of my life. This gospel is all I've ever known, but it's because I want to know it. I want to feel it's peace every day. I know this church is true. I know this world was created for us. I know Christ lives. I know He chose to feel my sins, sorrows, sacrifices, shortcomings, failures, heartbreak, pains, and my afflictions. He knows exactly what I'm going through. He also knows my joys. He knows me perfectly. I know Joseph Smith restored this gospel. I know President Thomas S Monson is God's prophet today. The priesthood is the power of God given to us. Repentance is real. Prayers are heard and answered. God's peace can be given to all. I know all of this is true, and I testify of it in the name of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being true to it every day. High school can sometimes be a scary place. Peer influence sometimes causes people to choose the wrong paths. But, there is also good peer influence. I live my faith by being that good friend. I'm not afraid to let people see what I believe in. I live my faith by putting pictures of Christ in my locker so it is a holy place. I have pictures of temples in my car and on my phone to remind me of where I'm really going. I live my faith by choosing friends and only dating those with my standards. I remind myself constantly that sacrifices now mean further blessings in the future. I live my faith by attending church every week and partaking of the Sacrament. I attend the temple regularly. I pray and read my scriptures. I live my faith by doing what I know to be right.
