Hi I'm Emily

I love music and sports, and most of all, my family. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a very motivated person. I want to be the one to figure out problems and reach my goals. Life is constantly throwing fast balls at me, but it's just a big adventure. I adore my family. I love playing sports and being active. I have a deep love and fascination with old houses, and hope to open up my own Bed and Breakfast one day. Most of all, I love this Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I've never known anything else, but I continue to practice being a Mormon because when I do, I'm the best that I can be. This church makes me happy, and I love to feel the spirit. I love to help people, and to get to know all different kinds of cultures and families. I feel comforted to know that no matter where I go, no matter what church building I go to, the church is true. Any culture, the church is still true, and so many other people are members and believe the same thing I believe. I want to live with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father again, and I know that when I practice being a Mormon, that I'm doing the right thing. The feelings I get when I go to church, go to the temple, read the scriptures...the feeling is indescribable. Everyone is still going to have challenges, and being a Mormon doesn't make life any easier, yet life is more bearable. I love this Gospel. I'm so grateful to be able to serve a mission and be able to share my beliefs, and to make others lives more bearable.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the single digits to serve my mission in the best mission on earth...Boston, Massachusetts. Boston already has a very special place in my heart. I can't wait to go share with others about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Some may think that you have to do hard things to be active in this church, and to live faithfully. The secret is be kind. Look for those little acts of service to help those in need. Charity is the pure love of Christ, and helping others is a great thing to contribute. That is a way that I have gained my testimony, and continue to show others what I believe.
