Hi I'm Mari Dettamanti

Currently serving as a missionary in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission. I love to talk, learn, read and laugh!

About Me

Nothing makes me happier than living and sharing my faith. It's been a special blessing, throughout my life, to see how everything I do connects to the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In High School I participated in Cross Country and Track. I continue to work out and thoroughly enjoy pushing myself to become better. I plan on pursuing a career in Cardiac Rehabilitation upon returning home from my missionary service. Being the youngest of 5 siblings has largely shaped who I am. We're a tight knit family who love doing anything outdoors, and are brought closer through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also have a deep love for learning, that has been cultivated by a love of study and education.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are Mormons, and have raised me and my siblings in the LDS church. While this is a huge part of my membership in the church, I believe it's a very personal choice to be a Mormon. I choose to be a Mormon because I love and have faith in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Nothing brings me greater happiness than living my faith, through study and prayer and serving those around me.

How I live my faith

Sisters in the LDS church have the opportunity to serve missions for 18 months. I have decided to serve one of these missions to help those around me come to a better knowledge of who they are, who God is and their relationship with Jesus Christ. I've prepared by going to church, daily prayer and scripture study, and attending classes at the LDS Institute of Religion. All of these things have helped me live my faith and brought so much joy to my life.
