Hi I'm Mahana LK3 ^_^

I grew up in a Family of 13! We live in Hawaii now(: I love to surf and be outdoors! I Love my family & the Gospel! I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am the 3rd oldest of 11 kids! My Dad was in construction work all of my childhood which had us moving back and forth to Utah, Arizona, California and Missouri! It was lots of fun living in so many different places even with all the challenges. I had the opportunity to be home-schooled! Which I grew up to be very grateful for! ;) We finally Settled in Hawaii when I was almost 14! Which was, of course, Super amazing! My Tutu(Great Grandmother) grew up in Maui and is Half Hawaiian so we grew up with the Hawaiian Culture which I Love so very much! We have been so blessed with the gospel in our lives and I Love having a relationship with Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. I love Being active and being outdoors! I especially Love the ocean! I have recently discovered Surfing and enjoy attempting to do that and working on becoming better! I love the Sunshine and the rain! I Love Learning and trying new things! I was in school for a semester for Exercise and wellness Major, But I am now on a mission for our Lord serving in the Pocatello Idaho Mission! And Loving Life!

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know it is the True church of our Living Father in Heaven, Our God in Heaven. I know he guides this church and blesses all who follow him. Growing up in the church I have questioned at times but you can always feel his spirit when you are seeking truth and when I got my patriarchal blessing (Which is basically a blessing we get through someone who is called of God so that we can receive guidance for our life) I was still skeptical about things and wasn't sure of the truth but I got that blessing from someone I had never met before but you could feel Heavenly Fathers Spirit speaking through him and I was able to receive guidance that I have used all my life and I knew from that moment without any shadow of a doubt That Heavenly Father is there! He knows us Personally! He is our Loving Father in Heaven! He Misses us and can't wait to be with us again and embrace us in his arms! He has provided all we need to return to him! All we need to do is Choose his way and follow his direction! I Love this Gospel So much! I testify that it is true and it brings Joy when we follow and obey it's teachings! We can have a personal Relationship with our Father and Our Brother Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the "Mormon" Church. c(: I have enjoyed all the blessings and joy that comes from living the gospel! I Love doing service projects for the community whether it's painting streets, buildings or parking lots, yard work, office work etc. I have enjoyed the leadership opportunities provided us by the church like teaching other young women my age and planning and organizing youth activities. I Love learning more about our savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Fathers plan for us! And then sharing it with others so that they can feel that peace and Direction and Joy that has been promised us through the teachings of Jesus Christ

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Mahana LK3 ^_^
Absolutely Not! We Believe that God is our Father in Heaven in a literal sense and he loves all his children Equally! He wants them all to have the same privileges and blessings! But the privileges and opportunities we have are dependable on our personal obedience and choices. There is a scripture that I love in 2 Nephi 26:33 (Which is found in the Book of Mormon-Another testament of Jesus Christ, Comparable to the Bible) And I Especially Love when it says: "...he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile."
