Hi I'm Elder Richard Tuffly

I grew up in Midway Utah. I love the church and I'm very enthusiastic about serving others on my mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Richard, I like to do several things. I am a runner and an athlete, trail running in the mountains and being outdoors is what I love most. I like to train hard, basically with anything I do. I like to train hard because it encourages me to try and accomplish big goals because people who run towards their dream, life has a special kind of meaning. I am interested in talking to people who need motivation, encouragement, or help. I love to do art work, mainly because it's a valuable talent that I have received from Heavenly Father, that shouldn't be wasted. I am into motivational speaking, listening and reading about motivational speakers and Philosophers. I love psychology and I inspire to get a PhD in Psych. Right now I am a Behavioral Health Technician.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is The Lords church and I will do what he asks of me...for many reasons. I had a rough start in life. I came from irresponsible parents and a family who never cared to take care of me. Since my childhood, I had a limited vision of how life was. I began to believe that life was miserable and that's just the way it is, that's the its always been and I can't see it any different. I was baptized in the church at the age of 8 and adopted at the age of 9. As life went on, something happened for me. I aligned myself with The Savior some years later after I was personally converted with The Lord by making an effort to step up. To raise the standard from within myself and realize that there's more to life than just allowing yourself to become a victim from dealing with adversity, again and again and again. In a way, I almost began to lose my nerve, convincing myself that the way I was living and the way I viewed life had no significant value if I didn't allow The Savior to lead me and guide me, and at times, lift my burdens when it was too much. With that said, what began to happen was, I began to develop a mind set ,through testimony, that allowed me to realize that God lives and that He knows who we are, what we want, and that He loves us. I know that to be true. I am grateful for The Lords Atonement. without it we are nothing. With it, we are everything. We are everything because we are his children and we are a necessary part of this work to fulfill His plan. I testify that these words are true. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by currently preparing for a mission, to devote all of my time for The Lord for 2 years. It will be a great experience and I look forward to performing one of the greatest things I could ever do in my existence here on earth.
