Hi I'm Elle

I have lived all over North America. I love reading, writing, music, my family, and traveling. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school graduate! I have been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I have been physically active my entire life, playing sports such as, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, and swimming. I love traveling, reading, writing, and being with my family and friends. For the past four years, I have been an athletic training for football, basketball, and baseball. I love helping people, which is one of the reason I became a trainer. In life, I want to make a difference. I think that in life, everyone has a chance to positively influence those around them. My dream is to travel the world with my loved ones and change lives. I love the Lord. I love this gospel. And I love answering questions about my beliefs.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member, so I have always grown up with all the basic principles. But why am I a Mormon? Life is crazy. This world is crazy. Life is always changing, as well as the world. While the world changes with time, there is one thing guaranteed to stay the same. That is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Why am I a Mormon? I have noticed in my life that there is one thing that brings a sense of happiness. There is happiness in knowledge. Knowledge that comes from wise men and women that are inspired by our Lord and Savior. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have been blessed repeatedly by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, in the most special way. The Lord knows me in a way that even I do not even recognize at first. I know that this church is the true church. I believe this with all my heart and soul.

How I live my faith

I have been so blessed to have held callings of leadership in my Young Women program, where I was able to help fellow girls. The girls in my ward have been such a blessing in my life, as we have grown together. I am so thankful that the Lord has qualified me to serve in a positions that could help others as well as help me. Currently, I am serving as a teacher of the four year-olds. My little sunbeams have such a sweet spirit. Although they are young, they absorb all the lessons being taught to them. They have such a sweet, innocence about them. Their testimonies are small, sweet, and basic, but it is those basic testimonies that have strengthened mine.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mormons are not required to serve a mission. Members volunteer to serve the Lord. Young Men can go at the age 18, while Young Women can go at age 19. Missions are definitely encouraged for anyone that is able. Missions are not for everyone. To know if serving a mission is for you, go to the Lord. Show more Show less
