Hi I'm Taylor Dillon

I'm a runner. I'm Utahan. I'm a Mormon. And I love life.

About Me

I am the son of two wonderful parents, and the brother of two amazing sisters. I grew up in the church, and served my mission when I was 18 in the Peru Lima North Mission. I am a distance runner and run cross country and track at Weber State University. I love any sport and the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church. Both my parents have been active members their whole lives which I consider a huge blessing. When I was young, I went to church just cause my parents did and that is what Sunday was always for, and I never questioned it. But there came a time that I had to build my own testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I stopped just going through the motions of just going to church, praying only on occasion, and reading the scriptures when I was told, and instead chose to find out what the church actually means to me. I began studying the scriptures more, praying more frequently and sincerely, and figuring out what the sacrament really means to me. Since then my testimony of this church, The Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, the Restoration, Jesus Christ, and every other aspect of the church has grown so much stronger. I know that these things are true. The peace, joy, and happiness that I feel from this gospel, and I know that it comes through the gospel, is something I can't feel anywhere else. I can't imagine how my life would be without the true, restored gospel. It is amazing. I love it.

How I live my faith

I love living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Service is one of the greatest things about being a member of the restored church, because there are so many opportunities available. I love serving in my calling as a ward missionary and as a home teacher. I love sharing the Gospel with others, which is what brings the most joy in my life. I love institute and the blessing it is in my life. Learning about the Gospel and using that knowledge to bless others and bring them to Christ is the what I see as a most important responsibility that I have in my life.
