Hi I'm Myia

I grew up in Washington state. I plan to save the world one mind at a time. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a typical all American girl. In college I was a cheerleader and apart of color guard. One of my favorite hobbies are sports watching or playing is always an adventure. Cooking, crafting and making music are close behind sports. Over the years I have grown to love music. I have played many instruments including the French horn, bass drum and cymbals. Piano, guitar and oboe are a few instruments that I currently practice with. Like all talents music skills take practice.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because for once I feel complete and secure. I have went to many different churches and always felt as if something were missing. For the life of me I could not figure out what that thing was. It wasn't until a couple of missionaries came to my door in hopes of communicating with my family. At first I had zero desire to meet with the guys in suits but as time passed along I could feel something inside becoming curious about the message those young men carried. How I live my faith

At church I have the opportunity to teach the young women ages 12-16. With this I get to come up with creative ways to help teach the girls valuable life skills and virtues. My main focus is to love and teach them so they may grow to be strong leaders in our society. I love having a hand at shaping tomorrow's leaders. Every month I go out with another lady from the church and we meet with a few of the ladies from the church. This enhances our sense of community. We are able to build deeper friendships and lend a helping hand to each other.
