Hi I'm Shelbi Holt

I'm a Mormon. I recently returned home from serving an LDS mission in Louisiana Baton Rouge.

About Me

I am a full-time student attending college at Southern Utah University. I recently returned home from my mission in Louisiana Baton Rouge. I grew up playing softball and am a long distance runner. I'm the youngest of three girls in my family. I love anything to do with hunting, camping, and outdoors. My family are my best friends and I hope to marry my other half in the temple some day 💕 if you have any questions, please email shelbiholt@gmail.com

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel is like something I have never experienced before. The doctrine and feelings are constant and I can always feel the love of my Savior when I do what is right. The biggest thing to me is family. This whole gospel of Jesus Christ is centered on family and Christ's love for each one of us. One of the teachings of this church is that families can be together forever. That is comforting to me and to many people who have lost loved ones or who are afraid of losing loved ones. Christ's atonement and His suffering for our sins makes it possible for me to be forgiven of all! I have personally felt His enabling power when I have repented and asked for God's mercy. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ wants what's best for us. I continually feel their love in this gospel and the Holy Ghost testifies that to me. I have a testimony that if you pray with a sincere desire to know if this church is true, you will receive your answer. I have received mine and I know that this church is true with all of my heart. That Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet today who receives inspiration for our time of day. I love my Savior and am so grateful for his sacrifice. I KNOW that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I recently held the calling as the temple coordinator in my singles ward. It was a blessing to be a temple coordinator because I had the opportunity to plan all of the temple trips and work one-on-one with the bishop who was over my ward. I have also had the privilege to be a full time missionary in the Louisiana Baton Rouge mission. The people, the gospel, and Jesus Christ changed my life while serving and continue to do so each and every day.
