Hi I'm Isabella Favero

I grew up in Carson City, Nevada. I love to sing and travel. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Isabella. I love to sing and to travel. I grew up with a lot of siblings because my family does foster care. I love to spend time with my siblings. I am currently attending Brigham Young University. I was born with a heart disease called Tricuspid Valve Regurgitation. I had open-heart surgery in 2007. I like to learn about history and the environment.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of His church for my whole life. I enjoy learning more about the church and His gospel. I choose to follow the example of Jesus Christ because it makes me happy. I love my Savior and strive to follow His example and teachings in all I do. I know that this church is true. I know that my Savior lives and that He loves me and wants what is best for me. I know that if I keep His commandments, I will be blessed and can return to live with Him someday. I will try my best to follow His example so that I may help others come to know Him and help them to feel His love and strength. I know that this gospel is a gospel of eternal families. I know that through sacred covenants made in God's Holy temple, I can be sealed to my family and can live with them after I die. This knowledge helps me to understand that although there is pain and sorrow in this life, all can be made right through our Savior Jesus Christ. He is my rock and my salvation. Through His grace, I can be saved. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints gives my life direction and purpose and helps me to focus on fulfilling my potential as a daughter of God and helps me to understand the purpose of pain and struggles and joy and happiness in this life.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving in my community. I have participated in volunteer activities at my local library and with my 4-H group. I have served as a Sunday School teacher for my church and as a Ward missionary. I have participated in church activities such as a Pioneer Trek and Girl's Camp. I have also volunteered at my local community Arts Center as a teacher's assistant for dance and drama. I have also volunteered at our community Greenhouse helping to grow food for our local food banks and other organizations, as well as learned about the Earth. I attend church each Sunday to feel my Savior's love for me and to be spiritually renewed each week.
