Hi I'm Jace

I was born and raised in Utah, I love to play sports, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I, Jace, love to live. Friendship is one of the most important things to me in my life. Those who are my friends, I am close to, I work with, and that go out of their way to make my day better are all people I consider my family members. I'm a part of a big family and I love spending time with all of them. I love being outdoors and doing anything athletic. I plan to attend college in about two and a half years, as well as play football at the collegiate level. Before that I am going to be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

All my life I have been a member of this Church. My parents grew up in the church, therefore I developed an easy and steady habit of attending without complaint. I've never had a problem with going, not only because I enjoyed spending time with other kids my age that also went, but because I learned at a young age what the right values in life needed to be in order to be happy. I'm not saying I am eternally happy yet, but I most certainly am on the way. This church has allowed me to explore my mind and thoughts and the world in which I have grown up in, and it has made me realize that this religion, this faith, is what brings happiness into my life. I would not be as close to my family if it were not for the values taught by this church, and I would not know how to love, or cherish love as greatly as I do. I am grateful for this church and the amazing life-lessons it has to teach, I'm grateful for Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice, allowing us to be forgiven for our mistakes and progress and become better, with the ultimate goal of returning to live with our Heavenly Father. I know that families are forever, and that Joseph Smith restored this gospel. The Book of Mormon is true and I testify of that and all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

All growing up I have had endless opportunities for service with those that live close to me in my ward. I have gone through boy scouts activities and camp outs, I have attended and taught lessons in classes to children in my ward, as well as older, youth-aged members. I also have had a home-teaching assignment the past 5 years in which I've had the opportunity to serve some amazing families, visiting them in their homes once a month, and just hanging out with them, giving them lessons, and talking about life and how things are going for us individually. One of my favorite things about how I live my faith is making friendships that last, and I know that those who I teach/spend time with, will always be supportive of me and love me for the things I do. I am grateful for the opportunities that the church provides for me to get to know the other members and develop close relationships with the people in my ward and are what create a wholesome and wonderful experience for myself and others.
