Hi I'm Erin

I love to sing. I love people. I'm a missionary serving in Nagoya, Japan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

What I try to be most is kind and respectful towards my fellow men. Throughout my life I have come to realize that every single person on earth means something and is worth something. I try to reflect my knowledge of this through my actions as best I can! I love my family and my friends with all of my heart; I am who I am today because of them. I love music with my whole soul, and I like to sing to make myself feel better sometimes. :D I love meeting new people, watching movies, eating food, singing songs, and loving life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my faith gives me hope. I cannot imagine not knowing all of the things I have had the opportunity to grow up knowing. The amount of love I feel from Heavenly Father in times of trial and hardships is overwhelming. I know that I am never alone and that I never have any reason to feel scared or abandoned because He is always there.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches about love. Having charity and love is without a doubt above all else. First we must love God, and in doing so, we will love those around us so much easier. I know for a fact that each person that has ever lived, is currently living, and will ever live, is a beloved child of our Heavenly Father. Because I know this I want to be as loving, kind, and respectful as I can towards every person I come in contact with. As I have done this I have come to appreciate and be aware of Heavenly Fathers love for not only everyone else but for me personally. I know He loves all of us and knows each one of us with a tender love that cannot be measured.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Erin
Mormons are just like other people. Yes, we are allowed to dance. Yes, we can eat ham. Yes, we are allowed to do normal human things. No, we are not polygamists. We are just normal every day humans! The only difference between us and other people is that we know exactly who we are, where we came from, and where we are going after this life. Through this knowledge we are much happier, we have higher standards, and we live in a way that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father. Simple as that! :) Show more Show less
