Hi I'm Riley

I grew up in Arizona and went to school in Hawaii for a year. I am now preparing to serve a mission in Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest in my family. I love to try anything new, which is why I decided to attend college in Hawaii. I love all cultures of people and learning about them. I have an older sister a younger sister and two younger brothers.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel and have lived the rules ever since I can remember. For all of my childhood and well into my teenage years, I only followed this lifestyle because my parents lived it. It was not until my late teens that I gained a testimony of this church for myself. I, without a doubt, know that this church brings happiness to all those who follow it's principles. I had always thought I was happy, until I truly lived and followed this gospel. Only then did I realize I had no clue what true happiness was. It is the most reassuring thing for me, knowing that I am not in charge of the show. God is constantly looking out for me, and guides me on what decisions to make in my life. At times there are certain guidelines I don't understand, and I have never been perfect at following them, but I know they bring peace. It is such a blessing to have peace in a world where it is not commonly found.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I have watched and played with the little children under the age of 2. I also participate in the classes each Sunday. Each month I visit a couple women in my community and check up on them to make sure they are doing okay. I also share with them a short, Christian message.
