Hi I'm Jacob

I'm an outdoor enthusiast. I'm a missionary in the GKLM! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 children and I have 4 adorable nephews who I love the heck out of! My family is so important to me. I grew up in the church and was raised by the best parents in the world! I am on a mission shepherding God's children to the temple in Kentucky! I love to hunt, fish, hike, ride horses and play the piano. Just put me outside or give me a piano to play and I'm a happy camper! Planning on going to Utah State University after my mission and see where life takes me. I am a Mormon and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said, I grew up in the church. But, I had to find out if this was true for myself. So I am a Mormon because I prayed and fasted to know if the Book of Mormon was true and if Joseph Smith was a prophet. I received an answer. I know now through the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that I am a son of God and that he loves me. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he lives today. I know that Joseph Smith really was a prophet of God and that he saw our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on the earth today and I sustain him as well as the rest of the leaders of this church. I know that this is Jesus Christs original church. These things I know by the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.

How I live my faith

Before the mission I was the choir pianist in my ward, now I am serving a full-time mission in Kentucky. I love sharing this wonderful message, whether it is through music or talking to people on the street. Really the main way I try to live my faith is by living it and by teaching it to others. I love how I can always learn something new when I open the scriptures! Always keep progressing and learning!
