Hi I'm Rachel Bailey

I am a University student, currently serving in the Canada Halifax Mission, I am a musician, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to play sports, preferably basketball and volleyball! I am a musician (piano, vocal, violin, and guitar). I have attend a year at University and currently serving a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Both of my parents are converts to the church and they love it! I still had the choice myself to join, and I did. I have seen many things in my life that has brought me closer to my Father in Heaven and I am thankful for all those chances that I have been given. I love being a member and it has brought so many blessings into my life that I am thankful for! I continue to follow His gospel because I know that it is true and I have found out for myself that it is!

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a missionary! Back at home I was in the Primary teaching Children.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Rachel Bailey
The Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know for myself that it is true. It has helped me a lot through my life and has blessed my life in many ways! It will bring you closer to your Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ! We invite others to "feast" on the words of Christ and that is what we should do. The words that are recorded are true and they can help us in our life today. There have been many times that I have turned to the scriptures for help and I am so grateful that I have a knowledge of the scriptures. It is another way that we are able to draw closer to our Father in Heaven, and to His Son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Rachel Bailey
We believe that death is not the end of our life. We have a plan that was set up for us by Heavenly Father that allows us to know that after death there is life. Our bodies stay on the earth as our spirit goes up to the spirit world. There we are able to learn about the Gospel of Christ and be able to still progress. We believe that that is where we will be united with our families once again after we all have passed. We are able to live with our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ again along with our family. We will all be resurrected one day and be able to have our bodies with our spirit again.
