Hi I'm Emma

I'm a dancer, I'm a rugby player, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have struggled with depression and anxiety for most of my life and have found ways to shake that off through dance, rugby, and the Gospel. I graduated from high school last year and am now trying to find my place in the world with the help of my wonderful family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found so much joy and peace knowing how much God and Christ really love us. Heavenly Father wants us to be truly happy, and so does Christ. Christ suffered for us, not only for our sins, but also to give us comfort in our sorrows. To know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can be made perfect and return unto the kingdom of God is the most amazing feeling in the whole entire world.

How I live my faith

Every Monday night, we hold a Family Home Evening, which is where the ward comes together as our own family (since we are all young single adults and have yet to create a family of our own). We play games, share a spiritual thought, and eat food. The LDS missionaries are always inviting me to teach with them, and I am always striving to set a good example of the church by looking for ways to serve and help others around me. In Matthew 25:40 Christ says, "inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
