Hi I'm Taylor

I play volleyball. I like to sail. I am seeking to be a public speaker. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 17 high school student, about to graduate this June. I recently received my mission call. I was assigned to labor in the Russia Moscow Mission. I enjoy playing volleyball and running track, where I do the Long Jump, Triple Jump and the 300m Hurdles. I love to sail and have been doing in for the past number of years now. My goal is to someday be a widely known public speaker and to be able to touch the lives of many with my knowledge.

Why I am a Mormon

In following the doctrines and commandments outlined in the Mormon religion, I feel a great sense of peace and freedom. It seems like the opposite of what you would expect to feel by having to follow a bunch of strict rules and guidelines, but in reality, the only time I feel truly free is when I do follow them. This is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve as the 2nd counselor in my priest quorum right now. I have been serving for about the past 3 months. I also actively participate in the blessing of our sacrament and preparation of our building, seeing as we are the first ward in the morning to use the building. I attend a missionary preparation class every morning at 7:30 to try to be the best missionary that I can be. I soon will attend a temple preparation class to prepare me to make sacred covenants that will take place in the temple.
