Hi I'm Colter Chase

I am an Army Brat, and the oldest of six, I love my family, and I am also a Missionary in the California Santa Rosa mission.

About Me

I Love reading, writing, photography, and Cooking. The first time I cooked I made a three course meal with Shrimp Scampi as the main dish. I am always up to trying new things unless it involves heights, I am deathly afraid of heights. I am currently serving a two year mission in California, and I will be getting back in May 2017. I plan to become a Pediatric Doctor which will take roughly eleven years of schooling. I want to follow my Dad's footsteps in going medical. I am the oldest of six kids, I have two brothers and three sisters with the closet one at eighteen months behind me. I was born with pigeon toe, which is where your foot is turned in, at the age of twelve I got to the point where I could control it better, but if I start to get tired you can catch glimpses of my foot turning in. I was raised in the church from day one of my life, but I did not truely understand the gospel until I became active in serving those around me. I am an Army Brat, I love to Cook, I have a wonderful family, did I mention I am from Texas, and I am Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know without a doubt that the church is true, and that God communicates with us in these latter days. I know Christ died and had risen so that we would be able to live with God again. I have loved my Family since I can remember, and I know that through the plan of salvation we can be a family forever. I may not have always shown my family the love I have for them, but each and every day I have the chance to improve that relationship.

How I live my faith

I smile... Each and every day I search to find a reason to smile, and enjoy the miracle of life. I then try to help those around me see it two. I never shy away from giving a helping hand , or from service projects that need to be done.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Colter Chase
As I see it the welfare service that the church offers is the perfect way to do it. By helping people get back on their feet it promotes self-reliance. The first step to a successful service of any kind is by getting the people you are helping to a point where they do not need another helping hand, and that is where the church succeeds not only do they help people immediately they help people eternally.
