Hi I'm Bailey Crane

I'm a small town Idaho girl who has a passion for teaching and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm originally from a small town called Lyman Wyoming. In the seventh grade I moved to another town called Rupert Idaho where I met my incredible husband. During my school years I was able to play tennis, swim, snowboard, participate in student counsel, live with foreign exchange students, and grow a ton! I am currently living in Rexburg Idaho with my wonderful husband. We are both going to school. I'm an Elementary Education major and he is studying Health Care Administration.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it doesn't make sense for me not to be. I have tried the things my leaders have told me to do (such as reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible and Praying morning and night) and the blessings I was promised were really granted to me. My happiest times were when I was fully engaged in the scriptures and praying daily. I have "tested" the Lord and He has ALWAYS kept His end of the bargain! I am a Mormon because I obeyed and the Lord delivered! I am a Mormon because everything Mormon's stand for is good! Yes Mormons are still imperfect people and most of us make mistakes, but that doesn't mean the Gospel of the LDS church itself is bad. People are people but the church is always true. People will make mistakes, I will make mistakes, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is just a good Gospel. I believe it was the Gospel that Christ Himself set up when He came to earth. The people in the church may be imperfect, but the Gospel is still perfect. I am a Mormon because I know these things are right and good. I know that the Book of Mormon is a scriptural account and that when read with the Bible Heavenly Father will reveal so many truths to us. And I say these things in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently in a ward of just married students. Most of us are around the same age and have been married about the same amount of time. There are a few toddlers in the ward and they the life of the party. I am currently serving as a visiting teaching adviser. This means that am in charge of making sure that the group of girls I have been assigned get visited each month by their visiting teachers. I love this calling because it is a great way to get to know more of the ladies in the ward and ways that I can serve them.
