Hi I'm Anha Garcia

Military child, family girl, lover of trivia, and Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I've always been lucky to have an amazing support group headed by my parents. This has made me so painfully aware that love and mutual respective can be forged anywhere. For the past two years I have attended college studying and preparing to enter a workforce that will take me to where love is needed most. I believe that serving an LDS mission will be a help to me as I interact with different people and demographics. That as I teach others, they will teach me more.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is where I find the most answers and peace, and although some claim that this is possible in any faith, the way in which I receive answers in this Gospel is what makes my faith stronger. Through prayer and study and research, through asking questions and reading in between the lines, I have been allowed to interpret responses for what I believe to be truth. Lastly, as a Christian faith, I am a Mormon because I believe in forgiveness. That Adam fell that I may be here to learn how to live righteously, and to even exist here with 7 billion other children of Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I became a fully active member of the church when I was about fifteen, and since then I have been called to many church leadership positions and positions of service. I have served as a president, a planner, and my most favorite, a teacher. I live my faith each day with daily scripture reading and prayers. In less obvious ways I dress to a standard and exercise faith and patience in my peers. When I can, I ask questions or I answer questions to further a knowledge and understanding of the church, the crazier the better I think!
