Hi I'm Alyson Ewell

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church with my family of seven. All four of my siblings and I accomplished getting black belts in Taekwondo. I have lived in seven different states and plan on adding Pennsylvania to the list as I serve a full time mission. I love talking to random people. My favorite animal is a pig because they're so cute!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have been a great example to me through their diligence in serving others not only in the Church, but in our community. I received my own Testimony simply by just living the standards of the Church. Throughout the years of being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I have been able to search the Scriptures for myself and ask if what I was being taught was true. Once I received my answer I have never had a doubt in my mind that this is the true church on earth today. My brother recently went on a mission which has inspired me to follow in his footsteps. This church is who I am and I wouldn't want it any other way.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve in the Church through being in Leadership positions in Young Womens and now I'm able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the next 18 months. Being a missionary is the best decision I've made in my life. Serving others and having fun at the same time has made being in Pennsylvania an amazing experience.

What is the Relief Society?

Alyson Ewell
Relief Society is for women 18 years and older. At first when I started to go to Relief Society I thought I couldn't relate to ANYONE. I was barely 18 and everyone there was pretty much older than me. When I turned 19 I went on my mission and saw that everyone in Relief Society is there for the same reason: to be spiritually uplifted. I have visited many women who are in Relief Society during the week as a missionary. At first I was hesitant, but as I got to know the women there they became some of my best friends. Even though they're mainly quite a bit older than me I love them so much because I actually got to know their story and it has helped me grow so much more along the way. Show more Show less
