Hi I'm Tricia

I am a Native to Las Vegas. I grew up as a Mormon and am still an active member of the LDS church.

About Me

I love music and theater- so much that I have a degree in it. Techincally, I am a dramaturg, but I enjoy acting and directing as well. I also teach choreography for show choirs and musicals across my city.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the crucifixion and resurrection of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that through His atonement, I can be forgiven of my sins- whatever they may be. I know that witthout the atonement, I would lack in my ability to see hope in the future. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me personally. I have had experiences singular to me that have shown the very existence of a loving Heavenly Father, who knows me better than I know myself. I know that the Book of Mormon is true scripture and is closely tied with the teachings of the Holy Bible. I know that they were written through inspiration of the same God and should be treated as such. The words therein are words of God- not of man. The scriptures have protected me and aided me in personal revelation throughout my life. I know that my family will be together for eternity-not just this life. I will know my children and they will know me. I will know my ancestors and they will know me. We will continue on through eternity tied to each other with full knowledge of our relationship. Love will endure through eternity.

How I live my faith

My calling in the church is the secretary of the children's primary. As a type A personality, this is a great calling for me. I enjoy keeping things organized and getting to know all of the children. I also enjoy stepping in occasinally to teach a lesson or music. I am also used in most of the church's performing arts programs. I love to sing and perform during church services and I recently directed a live Nativity program open to the public this last December. These activities are always very humbling to me because they help me realize the talents that I have been blessed with and that I need to help of my Heavenly Father to successfully share and develop these talents.
