Hi I'm Cody Campbell

I grew up in Utah. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important part of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the Gospel and my family. I'm big on sports, especially baseball, and have played on baseball, basketball, cross country, volleyball, soccer, and football teams. I also participate as a member of my high school's student council, and have enjoyed serving the school and community with that organization. Service (a main aspect of the Gospel) is important to me, and I love helping others in their personal lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, because the Gospel of Jesus Christ has saved my life. Without the Gospel in my life, I would be in a world of hurt. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. I know that they visited Joseph Smith in the Sacred Grove, and because of that visitation the Gospel was fully restored to the Earth. I know that Christ's Atonement is the only reason I am able to return to my Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane, hung and died on the cross, and rose again that all of His brothers and sisters may be freed from death's grasp. I know that Thomas S. Monson is truly an ordained prophet of God, and that him and the other general authorities of the church are special witnesses of Jesus Christ. I know that Heavenly Father loves me, and has a hand in my life. I know that families are central to God's plan of happiness, and am grateful for my loving family here on Earth. The plan of salvation, or the plan of happiness, is perfect. How grateful I am to Heavenly Father that He has blessed me to know those truths, I love Him and this Gospel with all my heart. To those who are hurt, weary, confused, trapped, angry, bitter, or even just apathetic, there is hope and power given if we but humble ourselves and seek Christ. I know those things to be true.

How I live my faith

Recently, I received my mission call to the Madrid Spain mission. I live my faith by looking for and utilizing opportunities to serve, by living the best life that I can, and by fulfilling all my responsibilities in Church callings. In my youth group, I help plan activities and service projects, then oversee and help as they are accomplished. Home teaching has made me a better person because it helps me realize what other members of my community are going through.
