Hi I'm Christoph Davis

I have grown up in the State of idaho within the US. I am serving a mission in Retalhuleu, Guatemala. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was very young I have been drawn to the diverse cultures around the world. As a result of this have developed a passion for Anthropology and plan to study it in college. I also enjoy the outdoors and devote much of my time to activities that immerse me in the beauty of nature. One of my many hobbies is art, I love to draw and use my hands to create things. My home has always been filled with music, thus that has become a part of my life. I am an Eagle Scout, and through the program I have performed service, even internationally, on several occasions.

Why I am a Mormon

Firstly, I am LDS because I have been raised in the church. At times my faith has faltered, even to the point of abandonment. Yet through the shining examples of those around me, scripture study, and heart-felt prayer I have established a testimony. Being a Mormon has made me a better person. It has taught me integrity and virtue. I am learning self-mastery and selflessness; I am Mormon because I desperately require, like we all do, the power of the atonement and the guidance of living prophets in my life.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by always attending church. I pray often and strive to read the scriptures often. Within the community I have participated in a myriad of service opportunities and have allowed myself to be available to those around me when in need. At school I endeavor to be an example to my fellow students and share my faith in a variety of ways. The culmination of my faith, at this point, has been the choice to serve a two-year mission in Guatemala.
