Hi I'm Josie Morris

Born and raised in Layton, Utah. I have 5 Awesome siblings, the greatest parents, I love and play soccer and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Josie Morris and I am 19 years old. I am a sports enthusiast and just love to play any sport that I can. Ever since I can remember, I have played soccer (or fútbol as the world knows it,) and it has become my passion. I love watching, talking about, and playing the game, and I was privileged enough to play college ball this last year. I am attending college to get my Associates degree, just doing generals until I decide what I want to go into. I love spending time outdoor and with friends and I love to go adventuring! I love to watch Disney Movies and I love Disney everything and would probably live there if I could! I love to watch and quote movies and can quote just about every movie I've ever seen! I love to snowboard and play the guitar in my free time.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Having many friends who are not members, I have been asked this question a few times before. The best answer j have to this is I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of the Love that Jesus Christ has for each one of his Children. In our church we believe that each and everyone of us are bothers and sisters and that Jesus is our older brother. He is our example, the life the light and the hope of the world. Following his plan for us will lead to happiness in this life, and eternal life in the world to come. When we follow his example, we not only bless the lives of those around us, but we bless our own. After all, what better way is there to live than to serve and love others? I can testify to you that the more you learn to love others, the more you love yourself. Being a Mormon makes me happy and it's as simple as that. I can't even imagine what my life would be like without this Gospel and I am so grateful for it!

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have been raised with standards unlike the worlds. Growing up in my home we were told not to date before were 16, watch movies with inappropriate content, use swear words or other offensive language and gestures, and to stay clean both physically and spiritually. We believe in being honest and true, and that we should treat everyone like we want to be treated. I have many friends who are and aren't members of my church and I don't treat them any differently. I love them all for who they are! I have served in a few different callings in my church and they have helped me to grow and learn in so many ways. Teaching me leadership skills, organization, and how to love. I have been called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I will serve 18 months in the country of Guatemala!
