Hi I'm Kelsey

I speak Mandarin, I love children and animals, I'm part of the American Red Cross, I love to read, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in 9th grade. I enjoy singing, reading, and service. I love to learn. I am learning how to speak Mandarin Chinese. My favorite color is blue. My favorite food is noodles. I love making friends. I am planning to be a pediatrician when I grow up. My dream is to travel the world, helping children live happy and healthy lives. I currently participate in Track and Field doing Discus and Shotput, and I love it! I also enjoy Marvel movies! It is very nice to meet you!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in this church. As I grew older, I learned about who I am and my purpose here. I enjoy learning and growing in the church. I have made mistakes, and I have repented of those mistakes. However, those problems increased my faith in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us. I have gained a testimony of this church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ due to this. I know that this church is true. I know that God is our Heavenly Father and he loves us dearly. I know that Jesus Christ died so that we can repent of our sins and so we can live with Heavenly Father again. I know that the trials we face in this life are so we can gain strength and knowledge. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and was translated by Joseph Smith, a man with a second grade education who received knowledge by God to restore the Gospel on the earth once more. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today, and he receives knowledge from God to supervise and guide the people on Earth today.

How I live my faith

Every Wednesday, I go to a women's youth activity that strengthens my faith and confidence. On Sundays, I go to church, and sometimes teach my fellow classmates lessons. After church, I go to a missionary preparation class so I can be prepared to serve a mission when I am older. I also talk to my friends about church and try to answer any questions they may have.
