Hi I'm Hailey

I'm a missionary serving in Germany, I'm from California, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the 4th of 6 children, born and raised in California. I love California! I love going to the beach and I especially love the beautiful desert sunsets I get to see every night. I love my family more than I can express, they are my best friends! I love cooking and reading and writing and hanging out with my friends. I am currently serving in the Alpine German-Speaking Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I've known since I was a little girl that the church is true! It has brought me so much joy and I can't imagine my life without it. Through the church, I've learned that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and know me. I've learned that God still speaks to us through living prophets - we are not forgotten! The Lord loves each and every one of us and wants to bless us. As a member of His church, I've learned about His love and how important it is to love Him and follow His commandments in return.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the church my whole life and it's blessed me so much! I love reading the scriptures and going to church on Sundays. I love learning more about the Gospel every day. Before I left for my mission, I served as a teacher to the women in my ward. I loved the opportunity I had to discuss the Gospel with them as a teacher once a month. I believe I learned more from them than they learned from me! When I teach about living the faith, I love to talk about the little things we can do: smiling at everyone we see, holding doors open for people, saying thank you, asking people how there day's been, sharing a compliment or words of encouragement, hope, and love, etc. All these things are so simple but they can have such a huge impact on our lives and the lives of others as we strive to set a good example. Now, I am a missionary for the Church! I'm at the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in England and in just a few weeks I'll report to Germany! Being a missionary makes it so crucial for me to live my faith. I can't teach about my faith if I don't live it! I love being a missionary at the MTC because every minute of every day is devoted to learning more about the Gospel and learning how to teach others about it. I'm so excited to teach the people of the Alpine German-Speaking mission!
