Hi I'm Soane Mahina

oh yeah, i grew up in the Kingdom of Tonga and I love the Beach, love to play Rugby, love to Drawing and I'M A MORMON

About Me

Okay, here we go, I grew up in the island doing nothing but coconut climber, and eating roasted pig, well and other things like hanging out with friends and staff like that. I love to draw when i have free time indoor and i love to play sports when i have free time outdoor. Rugby is my favourite sport of all but i love playing sports in General. Others around me has Been an influence in my life as i served as a missionary and being home with my family. They help and support me in everything good things and that will be my in return, is to do the same to others.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was an adopted child ever since i was born and i met with the missionaries in the village. As a child, i love hearing stories from the bible. In Primary school, every Friday we have a Gospel session which every students go to an assigned classroom and every member of which ever church you belonged to, go to. I was Catholic at the time, and the Mormon kids they have a separated house from the building and every once in a while i always wanted to sneak there and see what they talk about, well just about time getting there and heard what they talked about and the missionaries were the one teaching them. i felt a different spirit of welcoming love and care there more for me even tho it was for all of us. I get to learn more and now I am one of those guys that used to teach in that class. I love being a Member of this church and live it up to the best i can. it has been helping me a lot throughout my life and I KNOW it will continue to as i continue to LIVE it.

How I live my faith

Well growing up not in this church was a different experience from what would have been if i was born to this Faith. Believe me, i have learned a lot from what i grew up with and i gained more knowledge and love and gratitude as of who I am right now. Still rough and tough the way, but i was grateful that i was to start teaching and working together with the Youth in my age in this church. got to teach and to do activities with them, such as visiting other members of the ward and helping older people in the village that needs help. Great experience, and was called to be Ward Clerk recently before i left on my mission to serve as a missionary. I get to work with almost every Member in the ward now setting up activities and visiting them a lot more. We are not just learning this for our self but for to enable the blessing of others to be Given too, through our services.
