Hi I'm Marsha

I live in Utah. I am a mother of 5 wonderful children and a grandmother of 22 grandchildren with the 23rd on the way.

About Me

I am so thankful my loving husband gave me the blessing of being able to be at home to raise my children. They are all grown and married now. We all live in Utah within 15 miles of each other and enjoy being able to see and support each other. My family is my joy in this world. I have enjoyed many different interests in my life. Family history, making quilts and sewing, gardening, putting in sprinkler systems, fixing household items, painting my kids houses, fixing plumbing and electrical problems. Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do or Do without is the example my grandmothers taught me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church to good parents. They set a good example for me, but I was a little rebellious during my teen years, until I figured out my life wasn't going where I wanted it to go. The gospel teachings of my youth that Heavenly Father loves me and atoned for my sins gave me quidance to get my life back on track. Prayer is a powerful way to know and receive guidance from your Heavenly Father. Living the restored gospel to the best of my ability has given me a life full of joy and peace. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and its teachings help me to be the best I can be. My goal is to do something kind for someone each day. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ lives and loves us. He is our Savior and that His restored church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His church and His priesthood was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith. President Monson is His prophet today. The Book Of Mormon is true and the word of God. We are all sons and daughters of God placed here on earth in a state of probation to prove what we will chose. To do good or evil.

How I live my faith

The Savior has taught us to serve others. This is important to me and I have served in different church calling that has given me the opportunity to serve others. From driving the elderly to a doctor appointment, helping at funerals, babysitting for a young mother, helping with household repairs, taking dinner to someone in need, or help pack and move a neighbor or friend. Teaching our children to know their Heavenly Father and that he loves them. My favorite service is working with the young boys in the Cub Scout Program. I have been a Bear Den Leader several times. It has been rewarding to see the young boys learn and grow into fine young men. I will miss my new den of wonderful young boys. My husband has retired and we will be leaving on a mission soon.
