Hi I'm Taylor McDonald

God truly lives, and you can FEEL the love He has for you. He shows His love by His commandments, we show ours by obedience.

About Me

I always longed to be spiritual rather than religious. But when you discover God and His love for you, the two are one in the same. I was 22 when God lead me to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It has been a long 2 year journey that has changed my life and I have found a pure happiness. I desired to be carefree, and only when I am completely faithful to the gospel is when I achieve that, and it is so good! I have two little doggies whom I love, and my greatest desire is to one day have a LOVING family. I am the first generation of Mormon in my family :)

Why I am a Mormon

I came to the church a broken shell of a person. Within a small fraction of the time that I had tried my best to be happy and whole, God made that possible for me. It was literally life changing. I know that this Gospel is how Heavenly Father shows a lot of His genuine love and care for us because I have witnessed it for myself, and it aligns with all the experiences in my life.

How I live my faith

I was previously called to help in the nursery at my church, and through that experience alone I was able to gain appropriate experience to obtain a job at a daycare! I love to go out with the missionaries and help spread the goodness and news of the gospel! I am currently serving in the Canada Calgary Mission, I have been out just over 9 months. Missions truly bring you closer to Christ, and refine you the way He would have you refined. I love my Savior.

What is being a Mormon like?

Taylor McDonald
Once you truly stop caring how others perceive the name, and focus on coming closer to your loving Father in Heaven, it is a beautiful life. It can be a lot of work at first, filled with confusion and doubt, because it is scary to leave behind the life you knew in search of something greater, and it is, greater. Good things and feelings come from God, bad ones don't. There is a powerful source that will try to stop your progress, be very aware. I can say that once you choose faith and act on it, you are welcomed into this beautiful, glorious world that you wouldn't want to live without. Show more Show less
