Hi I'm Percy Harris

I grew up in Hawaii, I'm a proud Tongan, I'm probably one of the smallest Tongans you'll ever met and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family is what drives me, I am the oldest of 5 and was raised by wonderful parents. It is a goal of mine to represent my family to the best of my abilities. And that would be done through my efforts in seeking out a greater education and hopefully becoming successful in whatever line of profession I end up in. Graduating high school was one thing, but graduating life will be a completely different challenge. I got mad love for the T.V. show Power Rangers. I love movies! If i could live in a movie theater I would...A life long dream that I have is to own a movie theater one day, watch all the movies I want and enjoy the company of those who share the same love for movies as I do. I'm an Eagle Scout. I love anything to do with adventure. I love people. Any opportunity to surround myself with good company and good conversation, I'll take it. I love music and I love to dance. Throw on a good pair of headphones on me and you'll lose me. I am also a missionary in the beautiful country of Tennessee! Serving those of the dirty south.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful for this gospel because, it allows me to feel like I have purpose. It brings a sense of belonging to my life. I've been able to learn that wherever you go in this gospel, you're home. Regardless of race, culture or circumstance this gospel is made for us to belong. If my life is as crazy as it is now with the gospel. I can't imagine how crazier it would be without it. I was raised in the church and I am so grateful for that. Being born in the church it gave me a foundation or platform for me to stand on as I searched for my own testimony. It allowed me to fall back on something when I didn't really stand for anything. I'm grateful for the knowledge of eternal families and for the opportunity I have to share that knowledge with those around me, cause at the end of it all we're ALL family. I have gained a personal testimony of this church because of those times when I didn't feel like I didn't belong or that I wasn't home. It's because of this gospel and this church that I can go anywhere and be with anyone, and feel like I'm home.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the life I lead. I am a strong believer in action. Actions speak louder than words, especially when it comes to living your faith. It's one thing to say I'm a Mormon or a Christian, but it's a complete other to live it. Although I haven't been the best at living it, everyday is a new day to try and better myself. A key way I have done so, is I am serving a full time mission in the Nashville Tennessee Mission (The best mission in the world). Through this experience I've been able to see what I need to improve, but not just as a Mormon or Christian but a son of God.
